…the charm bracelet that is!

Here's a fun idea for end-of-the-season recognition that grows as the performer grows and can be treasured long after the letterman's jacket has lost it's luster!

For teams with all girls, a charm bracelet or charm necklace can be a treasured reminder of seasons past.  First year members are presented with their choice of a bracelet or a necklace (or you choose! You can make everyone the same!).  Then, each season select a special charm to represent the show.

Charms of all shapes and sizes, even in Sterling Silver, can be ordered relatively inexpensively from the internet.  I have found all of my charms for less than $4.00 per student (and I actually found some pink ribbon charms on ebay that were only about $0.30 per student!).  You can then add charms for special recognition such as guard officers, championship wins or perfect attendance.  Parents can also add charms as holiday gifts from the selection available from vendors at competitions or on colorguard website.

It's a fun idea that grows with your performers, can be worn with all types of attire and can even be a conversation starter when a friend in school asks, "What's your bracelet all about?"  At any rate, it is sure to be treasured for years to come!
